Villa Blubambu

Balinese villa in the village Seminyak, situated in a 1250m2 tropical garden. It has 2 large swimming pools of 4 x 12 meters and 3 x 21 meters (for nice laps) and is surrounded by a wall and large trees and plants so complete privacy is assured. 

The main building consists of a very large and tastefully decorated living and dining room at the ground floor. The interior is Asian minimalist style and creates a warm atmosphere. There are fans and air-condition units available in order to create always the right temperature. On the front and one side of this part of the house there are folding doors. These can be closed when there are tropical rainstorms during the rain season or when a cool space is required when it is hot outside. Close the doors turn on the air co and a cool living room is there. The living room is equipped with excellent radio/cd player, 32 inch flat screen TV (over 30 channels available via cable, including CNN International, HBO, Discovery etc.) and DVD-player. There is a stack of cd and DVD’s available for entertainment. Internet possibilities are available throughout the complex (see more about this under the heading Information).

Attached but separated by a bar element is the large open kitchen. It is equipped with modern (Italian) appliances like a large 2 door refrigerator, espresso coffee machine, blender and micro wave. The kitchen top is made of black granite (same for the bar top) and the cabinets are from a local hardwood with dark finish. In a separate storage space behind the kitchen there is also a washing machine and space for ironing.

On the second floor there is a large veranda that gives a beautiful view over the garden and the area. Also located on this floor are a bedroom with en suite bathroom and an office (both are not available for rent).

All the buildings (main house and guesthouses) have beautiful grey marble floors from Java.

Guesthouses
In the garden of villa Blubambu, located sideways from the main house are 3 large guesthouses. Those guesthouses are attached to one of the swimming pools with the terraces that belong to each guesthouse. These terraces provide a nice shadow during daytime and are a perfect location for a quiet relaxation time, perhaps with a book and refreshment.

The guesthouses have fans and air-conditioning for optimal climate conditions. They have large king-size beds with very comfortable mattresses, a 32 inch flat screen TV with access to over 30 channels via cable (including CNN International, Cartoon Network, ESPN, etc.) and internet connection.

Attached to each large room is a spacious bathroom with the latest in sanitaria. They have a large outside shower (one has inside shower and bathtub) and included is a large cabinet to store clothes. Floor and walls are from the same grey marble from Java.

Between 2 of the guesthouses is a Jacuzzi that has a separate connection so it can be filled with hot water if so desired.

Garden
Villa Blubambu’s tropical garden is shaped in a very open way but because of the trees along the wall it gives a very private feeling. In the garden is also fresh water pond with fish and water feature, a typical Indonesian bale for pure relaxation and on site massages, 2 large swimming pools of 4 x 12 and 3 x 21 meters, a nice pergola with beautifull wooden table + 8 chairs, a jacuzzi with a serene decoration through plants and Buddha statue, 4 daybeds for 1 person and a lounge daybed for a couple, 3 sun umbrellas and a large wooden hammock. In and around the garden are a number of trees and plants like bamboo, Balinese japun tree, palm and mango trees and banana plants, etc. The subtle lightning throughout the garden gives it a fairy tale feeling in the evening.

The water in the swimming pools runs through a special filter system so there is hardly any chemical in the water. The depth of the pools is maximum 1.60 meters so not suitable for small children that can not swim. For those the Jacuzzi can also be used as a kiddie pool.

Location
Seminyak is the epicentre of entertainment, dining, fashion and shopping as well as home to world famous boutique hotels and villas. Visitors from around the world come to enjoy the beautiful things that Bali, the island of the gods, has to offer.

Villa Blubambu lies in the centre of the Seminyak hub. Only a short distance away you will find an array of world class restaurants such as Gado Gado, Trattoria, Ku De Ta, La Lucciola, The Living Room and Hu’u Bar and Restaurant.

The beach (only 5 minutes walk) stretches as far as the eye can see and strolling along the beach at dawn or dusk is one of life’s greatest pleasures, the mood and ambience uniquely Balinese. You can regularly see the locals perform their cultural ceremonies and offerings on the beach front.
